	Adhoc Group for the Communiweb

During the fall 2002, the Community UCC adhoc website group began redesigning
and revitalizing our website, nicknamed Communiweb, with its new URL
http://www.community-ucc.org.  It was soon realized that the church office staff
needed to replace obsolete office equipment in order for them to be able to
effectively utilize the web (such as easily and quickly uploading weekly 
communigrams, sermons, and monthly schedules, etc.).
By the time of the annual meeting, new computers in the offices and a high 
speed DSL (*** someone help and give the meaning ***) internet connection 
should be in place.

To date, we have redesigned the Communiweb home page and created unifying 
graphics for all web pages, which includes the church name, logo, rainbow
ribbon, and the main menu buttons (with mouse highlighted list of sublinks).
The "Staff" and "Music Program" pages are nearing completion.  Ryan Munson
has done a great job photographing the staff and some recent special events.

Our Group intends to make a presentation on the Communiweb during a Sunday
adult education class in March. The purpose of the presentation is to
introduce the congregation to the redesigned website, to show its various 
features, and to encourage various groups such as Program & Mission, Women's
Fellowship, Christian Ed, etc. to write short paragraphs (with photos?)
which describe their purpose and activities.  These writeups would then be 
incorporated into the Communiweb.  Suggestions for additional features 
and/or further changes are always welcome.
