REPORT from Adhoc Group for the Communiweb

Highlights of 2003 from the Community-UCC adhoc group who oversees 
"Communiweb" - church's website at www.community-ucc.org. 

March     - presented the revamped Communiweb to the congregation during
            Sunday school class and during coffee hour on March 9.

April     - added "Current Events" page 
          - now feature timely "special" events on the Home page.

May       - obtained new software for office computers
          - added Communiweb monthly reports under
            www.community-ucc.org/groups/communiweb

September - updated Staff page with new minister info, added Heifer-book
            project and description of Adult-Ed classes to the Religious 
            Education page, added link to Fall Sermon schedule on 
            Current Events Page.

    ** BIG SEA CHANGE when entered WebEasel CONTEST **

October   - entered WebEase contest
          - added 150th Anniversary and History pages

November  - one of 5 finalists who won 50% off the WebEasel license
          - solicited and received contributions of $850 from the
            Congregation for the WebEasel license
          - added Women's Fellowship and Health & Wellness pages under
            www.community-ucc.org/womenfellowship
            www.community-ucc.org/wellness 

December  - received further contributions for a grand total of $1400.
            The additional amount covers the "multiple calendars" feature 
            and consulting fees as we implement WebEasel.

          - David Gerstenecker has made several templates.  The Staff page was
            the first to be converted into the Webeasel format.
   
DURING EARLY 2004 - we will be converting the existing Communiweb pages
into the new WebEasel format.  We welcome new members to join us in 
creating and maintaining new pages.
