Policies for Web Pages - approved by the Church Council

1. Photos of children (under 18 years old who are not University students)

Photos of children with or without adults may be posted on the web as long as the children are not identified by name.

Upon request of a parent, guardian, or the child themselves, that photo will be removed form the website immediately.

2. Photos and emails of Staff

Church email addresses will be posted with the name of the staff person. If they are willing, their photos may also be posted.

3. Contact information for church members and friends

Phone numbers, mailing addresses, or email addresses of people other than staff will not be posted without the permission of the persons involved.

Implementation of the policy:

For at least two months after the Communigram starts appearing on the church website, there should be a small notice therein that states:

The Communigram is now available on-line; note that contact phone numbers and emails (other than those for the church) will not be included in the on-line version unless specifically requested.

Put a link to our "web policy statment" somewhere on the Communiweb, for example, near the top of the "Photo Gallery" page.
