REPORT of Communiweb Meeting on November 7, 2004

The meeting was held after the worship service on November 7, 2004.
Unfortunately, only Tom Ward, Rick Langendorf, and Lanie Dickel were 
available to attend the meeting.


A. Proposal for an Interim Governing Structure for Community United Church

Impact  on Communiweb and its activities – 

1. Minimalist approach is to retain just the 

        Website  Manager (David Gerstenecker) and 
 
        Content Overseer (currently Lanie Dickel)

2. It is desirable that the current maintainers of web pages  continue  
   (or find their own replacements)

3. Church Leadership page will need to be changed

         Save the current page as church_leadership_2004
  
         Ask the Interim Polity Process group to help create a new page
         to replace the outdated one.

                              
B. Draft of Communiweb Annual report for 2004 - separate document 
   (for Church Annual Meeting)

         Please send comments, additions, and/or corrections?


C. New Leadership needed by June 2005

         Communiweb, the church website, is in good shape and is running smoothly
         with various people maintaining the individual pages and the Office 
         Secretary, Cindy, putting the Communigram on-line and adding events to 
         the on-line Master Calendar.

         Lanie would like one of the Communiweb members to become a co-
         Leader with her through the Spring and then take over by June 2005.

         As a gift to Community United Church, the Dickels will buy the 
         (additional) Webeasel community calendar service which will allow us to
         put a link to "Submit an Event" on our web page.  Then members who
         visit our site may submit calendar events.  The submissions require approval
         from someone (Church office) before they can be posted.  Webeasel would
         notify Cindy Dodd by email when an event has been submitted.
