Religious Education at Community United Church

CLASSES

Elementary grades
For first through fifth graders, we have a new curriculum – Worship for Life - which the RE Committee thinks our kids will enjoy and you will enjoy teaching.

Middle school
Our sixth and seventh graders will be using the UCC’s Caffeine booklets geared at getting conversations started.

Preschool class 
Our Pre-K and Kindergarten class also has a new set of lessons, “Hands on Bible Curriculum” which is incredibly easy to teach and engaging for youngsters.

Adult classes
Different courses will be available throughout the year. Please check the bulletin and Communigram online for details.

ADDITIONAL CHILDREN & YOUTH PROGRAMS

Nursery Care

Our paid Nursery staff are happy to provide a safe and welcoming place for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to play during Sunday School.

During the Worship Service, children through age four are welcomed in the Nursery. These young ones can play, color, create and have a snack. Being conscious of allergies, we offer graham crackers and water for snack time.

Youth Group

All youth in grades 6 - 12th are invited to join us in the Tower Room for food, fellowship, and fun each Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  Every summer the youth turn their energies towards a Summer Service and Learning Trip…where to in 2011 is yet to be discovered!
