Community Involvement
We build tables of community and break down walls of injustice. We strive to be an integral part of our campus and our local community. To achieve this in the spirit of our motto (see above), we involve ourselves in a number of activities: supporting a local food pantry, creating relationships with community organizations like the Times Center, and helping fund a Martin Luther King, Jr. scholarship. These activities are in addition to housing the United Church Foundation - the U.C.C. campus ministry of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Community UCC continues to be a strong supporter of the MLK Community Celebration.
